Students in Mrs Bell’s Advanced Culinary Arts class had the opportunity to learn about and apply catering skills. In partnership with Joy Evertsen, Nutrition Services Director, the students prepared the meat, potatoes, and dinner rolls for the All Music Night event in addition to serving and cleaning up the kitchen at the end of the night. The Advanced Culinary Arts class is learning about culinary arts as a career. The students in this class will be planning and hosting a few events throughout the year as well as starting a take and bake food business and a dessert of the month business. Students will test, market and sell these items beginning in the near future so stay tuned for details.
