Students in Mrs. Bell’s Culinary Arts class have been learning how to use eggs as a leavening agent in the creation of angel food cakes. In addition, they learned about garnishing and plating for visual eye appeal. They were able to partner with Mrs. Carpenter’s Digital Media class to utilize professional cameras and light boxes to practice food photography as well. Later in the day, Mrs. Carpenter’s students utilized additional baked goods in Mrs. Bell’s classroom to practice in their classroom.
