Culinary Students Share Recipes as Chefs for the Day

Students are taking turns bringing in a recipe from a dish they eat at home. They then lead the class in verbal instruction and monitor how well they are following direction. It has been a great learning experience in verbal communication, listening skills and in trying new foods. So far, students have made buffalo chicken dip, burritos, cheesy quesadillas, strawberry fluff salad, cowboy beans and grandma’s buttermilk brownies.
