Fourth Grade Social Studies

Fourth grade social studies students have been “roaming” the nation from coast to coast learning about each region of the United States, about pivotal times in our history (such as the creation of the Transcontinental Railroad), about the importance of learning to care for this great planet through recycling, about how money works and also about the Black Hawk War. Over the past months, students have not only been tested through paper and pencil, but have also been challenged to create booklets, presentations and timelines as ways to demonstrate their understanding. Way to go, fourth graders! You rock!
