FFA members recently traveled to the South Central District FFA Convention to compete against others from across the district in Leadership Development Events! We are incredibly proud of all our members who set goals, strengthened their leadership abilities, and stepped outside their comfort zones. It was a fantastic day, and we wish the best of luck to those advancing to the Iowa FFA Convention! A big congratulations to the following: Adeline Stone; Agriculture Sales, Gold Rating- Advance to State Competition, Zoey Hamilton; Prepared Public Speaking, Gold Rating- Advance to State Competition, Ag CSI Team; Layla Hanthorn, Ajae Mendenhall, Luke Saylor, Matthew Easton, and Gibson Graham; Gold Rating- Advance to State Competition, Secretary’s Book; Mildred Waugh and Piper Teel; Gold Rating- Alternate to State Competition, Jordan Dittmer, FFA Creed Speaking, Silver Rating, Renata Coria Toledo, Spanish Creed, 3rd Place, Reporter’s Scrapbook; Megan Young and Cortlynn Cook; Silver Rating, Treasurer’s Book; Leighanna Bundt and Anden Hall Participation Rating, Discovery Quiz; Ajae Mendenhall and Gibson Graham; Bronze rating- Advance to State, Greenhand Quiz; Cole Cline- Silver rating- Kendall Hatfeild- Bronze rating- Advance to State, and Chapter Quiz; Megan Young and Bianca Swartz; Gold rating- Advance to State. The state competition will be held at the Iowa FFA Convention on Monday, April 14 in Ames, IA at Iowa State University!
