Second Graders Recognize Patterns with Naturalist Kayla

Second grade’s unit 2 of our reading curriculum is all about examining patterns in nature! Students had the opportunity to learn how to classify trees based on their bark patterns, thanks to Naturalist, Kayla. Students put that learning into action to identify oak, cedar, and elm trees based on their bark patterns.
