Students Research Family Heritage

The English III class has been working on a research project for the past week. The assignment was to go and interview an aunt/uncle, grandparent, or great-grandparent to learn about their family’s history.

First, as a whole group, the students created a list of questions to take with them to help get the interview process started. Second, they had to create a slideshow presentation which included a family tree, the questions and answers from the interview, and something interesting they learned; an interesting story, a family tradition, or a family heirloom. Finally, the students will share what they have learned by presenting their slideshows with the class.
