CPR Certified Staff

The Central Decatur District commits itself to providing a safe learning and working environment. The Cardinal staff is 100% CPR trained and certified as part of professional development every 2 years. School Nurse, Justine Buckingham leads the effort with annual training and testing sessions for all staff. This effort supports not only the development of first aid CPR skills for our staff, but includes the readiness to operate the AED devices within our buildings. This continuing work is just one example of the high regard for safety at CD.
