Inspired by the book, The Dot, by Peter H. Reynolds, second grade students in elementary rrt created beautiful paintings full of dots! Students had a great time arranging and tracing a variety of circles. Then they used rulers – and math – and learned how to create radial designs inside circles. Finally, they used crayon, marker and watercolor to bring the dot designs to life!
