First grade had a wonderful time celebrating the 100th day of school. The students were able to participate in many 100 day activities including reading for 100 minutes, writing 100 rhyming words, and completing 100 exercises. During math time we had a great time skip counting by 10s to get to 100, completing number puzzles to 100, and making sets of 100.
During writing students wrote about what they would do if they had $100 and enthusiastically used their imagination to write about what they would do when they were 100 years old. To complete the day we had a 100 day snack.
