CNA Students Practice Skills in Hands-On Stations

As Mrs. Buckingham’s CNA class preps for clinical (on-site) training, students have been learning and practicing procedures they may be called upon to perform. Recently, to prepare for a test, the students practiced basic CNA skills in a series of stations set up in the classroom. Students rotated through dental care, bed baths, nail care, and more. In addition to the hands-on practice, this year, students have had additional opportunities to practice their skills using virtual reality simulations. These hands-on skills will also be tested as students test to earn their CNAs before the end of the school year.
