Spanish I Students Collaborate to Write Story in Class

Using their reading comprehension skills as well as communication through pronunciation and speaking, students use their unit vocabulary to gather the pieces to the story from around the room. Their partners write what they hear as they move around the room to retell the story in Spanish. They then will translate the story, develop a deeper understanding and compare this story to another story they had in class this week. Even in Spanish level one, students are building their skills and are able to communicate in a second language early in the year.
