FFA Fun at the Central Trail Hoedown @ Sundown

Story Submitted by Adeline Stone ’25 and Jamie Oesch ’24

On Saturday, November 18th, FFA members gathered together for a night of food, dancing, and games at the Hoedown @ Sundown. To attend the Hoedown, members had to sell $150 in the FFA Fruit Sale Fundraiser. The night started with a pizza party, thanks to our chapter for meeting their Fruit Fundraiser sales goal. While people were eating pizza they were also playing cornhole, card games, and began dancing the night away. About an hour in the games began! Splitting our attendance into four groups to participate in games, we battled it out in lip singing, charades, and limbo! Each team had a goal of winning the FFA spirit stick, made by Quinn Kernen, our Central Trail FFA Secretary. We would like to give a big thank you to our chaperones for judging our games, dancing it up, and making sure things were running smoothly throughout the night. The chaperones in attendance were Ashley and Dustin Dittmer, Tonya and Corey Lindsey, Jackie Graf, Mary Frisbie, Tanner Bettin, and Ms. Rosa Sondag.
