Central Decatur’s Awesome Bobbers competed in the Central Rivers AEA Elementary Battle of the Books. Students enjoyed guest author Sharon Draper. Draper is a New York Times best-selling author, has been honored as the National Teacher of the Year, received multiple Coretta Scott King Literary Awards, and praised through many other literary and education awards.
