The Central Decatur health occupations class had the opportunity to job shadow at Decatur County Hospital during the month of November. Once a week the students were able to observe and learn from our local health care professionals. The students were partnered up and rotated between the nursing floor, ER/ambulance, radiology, lab, cardiac rehab, surgery and the therapy department. It was a great opportunity for the students to see health care in action. Thank you to Melanie Hamaker for coordinating and setting up the schedule and to all the staff/departments for welcoming our future health care workers!
