Boys Basketball 2022 Conference Champions

Central Decatur Boys Basketball clinched the 2022 Pride of Iowa Conference (POI) Championship Title with a win at Martensdale-St. Mary’s in KCCI’s Game of the Week.

This is the sixth POI Championship for the boys’ basketball team. The Cardinals were also crowned conference champs in 2017-18, 2016-17, 2014-15, 1991-92, and 1988-89.

The Cardinals are currently 19-2, ranked 10th in Class 2A, and are looking forward to their next game.

CD travels to Albia Monday, February 14, to open District play against Davis County. Post-season tickets must be purchased online and are available at this link.
