CNA Students Prepare for Certification

The students in the Central Decatur health career academy are preparing for their state testing certification. This testing will take place on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Southwestern Community college in Creston. The test consists of two parts, a written test and a skills demonstration. After passing both tests the students will have their CNA certification and can work as a CNA in a variety of settings. The students have been completing their clinical hours at the Westview care facility in Leon. This allows the students practical, hands-on application of the skills they have been learning. Good luck to the students as they prepare for their certification exam!
