Central Trail FFA Members Receive Their American Degree

Story Submitted by Lexi Jensen ’23 and Hadley Bell ’24

The American FFA degree is the most prestigious award that can be given throughout FFA. Two of the Central Trail FFA’s members received this degree. Morgan Nordyke ’20 and Ethan Bundt ’20 received their degrees on October 30th at the 95th National Convention held in Indianapolis, Indiana. They were two members of the 158 other recipients from Iowa. They also join our very own forty-nine members who received their American FFA Degree since 2002. Members earn this degree by completing the following: members must receive their State FFA degree, hold active membership within the past three years, complete secondary instruction in an agricultural program and operate an outstanding supervised agricultural experience program. The recipients also must have community service, leadership abilities and outstanding scholastic achievement. They also must earn and invest $10,000 in their SAE projects. We congratulate these two on their amazing accomplishments!
