Second Grade is working on building a classroom family by focusing on Social Emotional Learning. Mrs. Clark’s class is featured sharing their “Me Bags” to get to know each other. Students brought items from home to share with their class. Mr. B’s class is featured working on recognizing the “First Day of School” feelings and graphing how their peers felt. Mrs. Durrow’s class learned how to use the “Affirmation Station” to encourage positive self-talk. It’s been a great first week in Second Grade!
