The Iowa Association of Track Coaches named Reece Tedford, Central Decatur cross country coach, a Class 1A Boys Coach of the Year. The recognition comes after a highly successful and record setting 2021 season for both the boys and girls cross country programs.
“We are excited for Coach Tedford to be recognized at the state level for his efforts with the Central Decatur Cross Country program. Reece has dedicated an extraordinary amount of time and energy over the years to help Central Decatur athletes grow as runners, students, and people. We look forward to the continued impact Coach Tedford will have on the student-athletes at Central Decatur,” says Zach Clark, CD Activities Director.
