Central Decatur Student Council sponsored a blood drive on Monday, November 7. Thirty-one units of blood were collected. One pint of whole whole blood can save up to three lives, meaning up to 93 lives can be saved or sustained through the recent blood drive. Someone needs blood every two seconds. There is no substitute for human blood. Congratulations to 15 students who donated blood for the very first time! Mark your calendars for our spring blood drive on March 22.
