On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, Central Decatur business students had the exciting opportunity to travel to Ames to visit Iowa State University’s Ivy College of Business. The visit offered students a firsthand look at the state’s top business programs and a glimpse into the possibilities that await them after high school.
The day began with a guided tour of the Ivy College of Business, where students explored the facilities and learned about the resources available to business majors. Following the tour, three distinguished faculty members spoke to the group, sharing insights about the wide range of majors, career paths, and opportunities offered through the college.
As part of the experience, students were treated to a meal on campus, giving them the opportunity to get a feel for student life at Iowa State. It was a great day and Central Decatur students left with a better understanding of the college experience and the exciting future that a business education can offer.
