As their semester final project, students in the Foods 1 Introduction to Foods course competed in Food Truck Wars. As a part of this project, students design a business plan including a vision and mission statement and menu. They then create a model food truck and prepare one food truck menu item to present to a panel of judges. Menu items ranged from a breakfast burrito to cultural dishes to a fried Oreo.
