Eighth Grade Exploratory Learns Employability Skills

Ann Schlapia, Workplace Learning Network Coordinator, was a guest speaker in the 8th grade careers exploratory. Students were presented with an activity which required them to work together and problem solve. By the end of the lesson, students learn six key employability skills including communication, problem solving, teamwork, enthusiasm/positive attitude, professionalism, and networking. These are skills that students can work on now to help prepare them for any career in the future!
