The Central Decatur Cardinal Muscle Monday School program has begun the school year with two highly successful field trips, providing students with engaging, hands-on learning and recreational opportunities outside the traditional classroom setting. Sparking Curiosity at Little River Park

The program’s inaugural trip took students to Little River Park, where the focus was on blending scientific exploration with physical education. Students rotated through various centers designed to be both educational and engaging. Activities centered on hands-on science concepts and collaborative physical tasks, providing a valuable opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a natural environment while reinforcing essential skills like teamwork and problem-solving.

A Day of Exploration and Fun at Gospel Farms

This past Monday, students visited Gospel Farms for a full day of recreational activities. With exclusive access to the farm, students engaged in a wide array of activities designed for fun and physical development. Highlights included navigating the tire pyramid, playing miniature golf and pool soccer, visiting the petting zoo, and experiencing the excitement of the ziplines. The day was a resounding success, creating lasting memories and encouraging active, outdoor play.
