South Elementary students started the year off on a positive note with their first Red Way Reward Event: a Jump Rope Party.
The Red Way Reward System is designed to recognize and celebrate students who consistently demonstrate the core tenets of our school’s positive behavior framework. By showing The Red Way to their teachers and peers, students earn Red Way Points, which they can then use to participate in special reward events throughout the year.
The Jump Rope Party
The first reward event gave students a chance to cash in their hard-earned points for a Jump Rope Party. Each participating student was rewarded with their own brand-new jump rope. The afternoon was filled with music, laughter, and exercise as students practiced new skills alongside their friends and teachers.
At the end of the party, students were excited to learn they could take their jump ropes home to continue their practice. Events like this help reinforce the importance of positive behavior while making school a fun and rewarding place to be.
Congratulations to all the students who earned their way to this fantastic event! We look to another successful year of demonstrating The Red Way!
