Spring Family Night

“Welcome Back Leon” was the theme for the spring family night. The event highlighted what is happening here in Leon. The night also included a preview of upcoming events in the area. Families attended the South Elementary campus, Monday, April 12 from 5:30-6:30PM.  Community partners shared news about their organizations. Families participated in giveaways, treats and activities. The spring book fair was also open for the event.

Community partners included:

Child Abuse Council, Decatur County Conservation, Decatur County Extension 4-H, Decatur County Public Health Decatur County Hospital, Decatur County Sheriff, Farm Bureau, Farmer’s Bank, Central Decatur Rodeo Team, John Deere, Leon Fire Department, Leon Park and Rec., Leon Police Department, Leon Public Library, Lion’s Club
