#WhyApply Day at Central Decatur

One of the first steps in getting to college is submitting an application. Applying lets students know what their opportunities are and can help in their decision-making process. High schools across the country are encouraged each fall to host events supporting students through the college application process. To recognize this important step and support students through this process, Central Decatur seniors participated in #WhyApply Day on Friday, September 17th. On this day, Central Decatur seniors took time in Mr. Ray’s class to apply to college with the assistance from their school counselor Mrs. Elsberry and TRIO advisor Mr. Tedford. Social media campaigns encourage students to use the hashtags #WhyApply and #IApplied to recognize and celebrate this big step!
