Seniors Walk Through Elementary Ahead of Graduation

The Central Decatur Class of 2022 took a hero’s walk through both elementary buildings Friday after graduation rehearsal. The annual tradition takes seniors on a walk past younger students, old classrooms and former teachers.

Elementary students welcome their role models with cheering, high fives and handshakes. The moments are bittersweet for many as they acknowledge the end of a journey through the halls of Central Decatur and encourage next steps with cheers and support. Congratulations to the class of 2022 and thank you for inspiring so many!
