FAFSA Assistance Offered During Parent Teacher Conferences

Filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is a crucial step for students who wish to attend college in the coming year. When reviewing Iowa College Aid data from last year, it was found that 76% of Central Decatur’s class of 2022 filed their FAFSA. This percentage ranks Central Decatur High School as tied for 16th out of 355 schools in Iowa for FAFSA completions.

This year’s Central Decatur seniors and their families can get assistance filing the FAFSA during Parent Teacher Conferences on November 7th and November 10th. The district has partnered with the TRIO Talent Search program to host this event and help support families with this process. Please reach out to Mrs. Elsberry for any questions and to sign up for a time slot available.
