CD Elementary Honor Choir Students Receive BTC Area Youth Benefit Core Grant

Four students attending the American Choral Directors National Honor Choir in Cincinnati OH received a $600 grant towards expenses for their trip from the BTC Area Youth Benefit Core. The BTC Area Youth Benefit Core was started in 2012 and began as simple efforts by BTC Bank employees and their friends in the community to help support kids’ organizations in the community. It wasn’t long before the BTC Bank community grew alongside the needs of youth organizations and events. In 2013, the AYBC established 501(c)(3) status so that the movement could increase the level of support provided to kids throughout the BTC Bank service area. Through premier fundraising and dedication of resources, the BTC Area Youth Benefit Corp. is committed to supporting the children in our local and surrounding communities. Students are working on their music and will be presenting a concert along with other students across the country for the teachers attending the conference on Saturday, February 25th.
