Mitten Drive Shows How Central Trail FFA Lives to Serve

The Central Trail FFA exemplified the FFA Motto “Living to Serve” throughout December by hosting a Hat and Mitten Drive! This project, which was headed up by Peyton Fry ’23, Central Trail FFA Sentinel, allowed us to provide over 65 students at Central Decatur Community School with hats, gloves, scarves, ear muffs, or a ball cap! Every student went home with at least 2 items from this drive! Central Decatur Senior Agriculture students assisted Peyton by packaging the hats and mittens for the students! Peyton stated “it was really nice to see the students so happy when they received a gift bag and knowing they would be staying warmer during this cold snap!” Thank you to everyone that donated to the Hat and Mitten Drive!
