It was a whirlwind of preparation as FFA members traveled to the Sub-District FFA Leadership Contest on Monday, February 27, with a quick turnaround for those advancing to the South Central District FFA Convention on Saturday, March 4. Both competitions allowed FFA members the chance to share their passion for the FFA through presentation of the information for their competition! The Sub-District FFA Leadership Contest took us to Osceola, IA where our FFA members were very successful, the results are as follows:

Members that advanced to the South Central District FFA Convention had just a few short days to revise and prepare for the next level of competition, while several other FFA members prepped for their first level of competition. These FFA members had the opportunity to vye for a chance to compete at the Iowa FFA Convention in April, and we were pleased with the outcome for the day of all our members! The results were as follows:

We were also honored to have Wyatt Hamaker and Mason Allen serve as our South Central District FFA Delegates where they were able to approve district events and select the 2023-2024 South Central District FFA Officer Team. Finally, we were pleased to recognize several of our Senior FFA Members for Academic Achievement, acknowledging that they have achieved a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA during their high school career.
Central Trail FFA members have worked hard in preparation for these events, and it is evident that hard work and dedication has paid off for all of them.
