CD Alumni Take the Stage at Simpson College

Cadence Clark, class of 2022, made her theatre debut at Simpson College March 24-26 in their production of Twilight Bowl. Clark was one of the six female leads in this drama which, as described in the program, was “commissioned by The Big Ten Theatre Consortium as part of a New Play initiative [in which] a series of plays were created by women playwrights featuring age-appropriate roles for young women.” Clark was involved in Central Decatur’s middle school and high school theatre productions, and most recently played Donna in Mamma Mia and Grace Fryer in Radium Girls during the 2021-22 school year. She is also part of the Leon Community Theatre’s summer musicals. Clark was joined last minute on the Twilight Bowl stage by alumnus Alison Blades, class of 2019, who jumped in for a sick cast member. Blades was actually the Costume, Hair & Make Up Designer for the show. Both CD grads were amazing and made their hometown proud!
