The Central Decatur Health Occupations class has spent the semester learning about health related careers and topics. There are fifteen juniors and seniors in the class. Recently they have gone to Decatur County hospital for job shadowing. The students have rotated through different areas of the hospital and been able to see and learn about different career opportunities. Students have also learned about infectious diseases and what they would need to wear when taking care of patients with these illnesses to protect themselves and others. A huge thank you to Decatur County hospital staff for allowing students to learn from them and donating supplies to the program.
