The month of May marks School Board Recognition Month, and Central Decatur Community School District is proud to honor the dedicated members of our Board of Education who play a vital role in guiding and supporting our schools.

School board members are elected public officials who volunteer their time to ensure that every student receives a high-quality education. They are responsible for setting the district’s vision, establishing policies, overseeing the budget, and advocating for student achievement and well-being. Their work is often behind the scenes, but their impact is far-reaching and deeply appreciated.
