“Big Time Operator”

“Big time operator!” Is the term that gets tossed around a lot on one our favorite days for our building trades program. Our students had the privilege of learning how to operate an excavator and skid loader. Huge thank you to Southern Iowa Wholesale Inc. for letting us use their equipment for training. SWI always give our students the opportunity to learn how to operate equipment in a safe environment. Many of our students don’t have the ability or access to this machinery. Each student gets a walk-through on all the controls and then have 5 to 7 minutes to learn the functions of the machine by operating them.
